The Arts Society Westminster has some 200 members and is actively seeking new members from the City of Westminster, London and the Home Counties.
Our society was formed so that people who enjoy learning about all aspects of the arts could get together in a friendly environment to develop their passion through:
- Attendance at ten monthly high quality lectures on a diverse range of art related subjects held at a central London location.
- Invitation to a selection of special interest study days including a light lunch.
- Invitation to in person and Zoom visits to places of interest.
- The opportunity to help preserve and contribute to our artistic heritage through volunteering and other support initiatives.
- Automatic membership of the national charitable umbrella organisation, The Arts Society, which entitles members to receive their quarterly magazine.
We aim to inform and inspire our members with talks on subjects as diverse as the fine arts, sculpture, photography, architecture, jewellery, ceramics, glassware, textiles - the list is endless! Our members not only attend for the lectures though - they also enjoy our friendly and lively community.
